I defended my PhD thesis "Opportunistic Mobile Social Networks at Work" successfully 21st of December 2010 at UPMC, Paris. The jury members were Dr. M. Shapiro, Dr. J. Crowcroft, Dr. P. Gunningberg, Dr. P. Michiardi, Dr. S. Fdida and Dr. C. Diot.

• 2007 - 2010 Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 6 (France), Laboratoire d’Informatique de Paris 6, PhD under supervision of Professor S. Fdida (LIP6) and C. Diot (Technicolor).
• 2000 - 2007 Helsinki University of Technology (Finland), Department of Computer Science, Master of Science in Technology. Thesis supervisors C. Diot (Thomson), P. Michiardi (Eurecom) and O. Simula (HUT).
• 2006 - 2007 Institut Eurecom, Sophia Antipolis (France). Networking track.

Research interests:

Mobile computing and systems, networking and distributed computing and social networks.

Previous

• Haggle 2006 - 2010 (FP6).
• MobiClique is a mobile social networking software to disseminate content within users' social networks using opportunistic device to device communications. MobiClique framework builds on the Haggle prototype and it can be used to study opportunistic networking and potential applications for them.
