Bio
Konstantinos (Kostas) is a PhD candidate at University of California at Riverside, at the Computer Science department under the supervision of prof. Srikanth V. Krisnamurthy. In 2008, he received his Master's degree from the Computer Science departmenet of UC Riverside, under the supervision of prof. Srikanth V. Krisnamurthy. In 2006, he received his bachelor's degree (5 years degree) from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of National Technical University of Athens, under the supervision of prof. Vasilis Maglaris. Currently (March 2009), he joined Thomson Research Lab in Paris as a research intern, to work with Dr. Theodoros Salonidis and Dr. Henrik Lundgren. His work in Thomson Research labs involves the combination of MIMO technologies with multi - sector antennas.

Research interests
Kosta's research interests include real world experimentation, protocol design and performance analysis for: wireless network security (and in particular detecting and mitigating jamming effects) as well as exploitation of MIMO technology for improved WLAN performance. He is also interested in mathematical foundations of communication networks. You can find a description of the projects Kostas has been involved with here.
