Bio
Hang Liu is a senior researcher at Technicolor's Corporate Research Lab in Princeton, NJ, which he joined in September 2004. Prior to Thomson, he worked at NEC American Research Laboratory, Princeton, NJ, and two startup companies, Iospan Wireless, Inc., and Tellium, Inc. His current research interests include wireless networking, content delivery over wired/wireless networks, IP-based multimedia distribution systems. He has actively contributed to the IEEE 802 wireless standards including IEEE 802.11s, 802.11aa, 802.16j and 802.22, and is currently the technical editor of 802.11aa standard. He is the co-recipient of the Best Paper Award of IEEE Tridentcom 2006 and the Best Student Paper Award of IEEE CCNC 2006. Hang Liu received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
