Short Bio:

Theodoros Salonidis joined Technicolor in January 2007, after Intel Research (2006) and a post-doc at Rice University (2004-2006). He holds M.S./Ph.D., both in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park (1999/2004) and a B.S. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, Greece (1997). For one year (1999-2000), he worked at the IBM T.J.Watson Research Center.

 

Research interests:

Modeling, design and implementation of wireless networked systems. 

Content management and dissemination in home networks, mobile networks and the Internet. 

Energy management and control of smart grid infrastructures. 

Distributed algorithms and network optimization.
